Dr. Jeffrey L. Morrow is a Senior Fellow of the St. Paul Center for Biblical Theology and an Adjunct Professor of Religious Studies at the University of Dayton. He earned his Ph.D. in Theology, in the program on the U.S. Catholic Experience, from the University of Dayton. His specialization is in Historical Theology and the History of Exegesis, particularly in the Modern Period and in the U.S.

Dr. Morrow was raised nominally Jewish, attended Hebrew school and had a bar mitzvah. He earned his B.A. from Miami University, in Oxford, Ohio, majoring in both Comparative Religion and Classical Greek. At Miami he became an evangelical Protestant, and then entered the Catholic Church, Easter Vigil of 1999. His M.A. from the University of Dayton in Theological Studies focused on Biblical Studies.

Dr. Morrow has published articles in a variety of academic journals and popular periodicals, including Evangelical Review of Theology, Josephinum Journal of Theology, Renascence, Fides Quaerens Intellectum, This Rock, and The Catholic Answer. He is currently engaged in research involving the role of politics in the rise of early modern biblical criticism, exemplified in the works of Thomas Hobbes, Baruch Spinoza, and Richard Simon.

He resides with his wife Maria and their daughter Maia in Dayton, Ohio, where his wife is pursuing her Ph.D. in Theology at the University of Dayton, also in the U.S. Catholic Experience, specializing in Moral Theology.
